A significant fire caused extensive damage to the two front units of a commercial unit complex in Cromer.
The structure of the building was steel frame with concrete wall panels. To replace the fire affected concrete wall panels and steel frame significant cranage and propping was required.
The site conditions were difficult as the complex had a single access driveway and the rear units needed access during works. This required complex program and open communication with all complex occupants.
A significant proportion of the works were completed on weekends and nights to ensure the project was completed with minimal disruption to occupants and nearby residents.
