CJ Duncan appointed to demolish building after large factory fire at Moorebank
News August 2020
CJ Duncan has been appointed to make-safe and demolish a large factory in Moorebank, following a very significant fire. The fire required 120 firefighters to extinguish it, with the heat reaching 3,000 degrees – high enough to melt the headlights and bumpers of cars in a carpark that were a reasonable distance from the building!
We have been appointed by Crawford & Co, the Loss Adjuster acting on behalf of the building’s insurer and were on-site within hours of the fire occurring. The building is a total loss and our Insurance team is well underway with the clean-up, prior to demolition works.
