CJ Duncan was engaged by the Owners Corporation of this residential complex in Redfern to complete the re-waterproofing of the common pool in the complex – due to leaking into the carpark below.

The scope of work included the demolition of the pool tiling and the surrounding terrace tiling, re-waterproofing of the pool, and the retiling of these areas. We also completed concrete cancer repairs to the pool area caused by years of water penetration into the suspended concrete slab.

This pool is a very popular area for the occupants so to cause minimum disruption, the work was completed over the winter months. As with most strata remedial projects, this work was conducted in a live environment and the needs and safety of the occupants were of the utmost importance to the CJ Duncan team.
