Remedial team hard at work in Mortlake
News September 2022
Remedial work is not for everyone. It is often backbreaking work when demolishing and excavating large areas of tiles and screed from balconies and podium slabs. However, our teams are well versed in this kind of work and get great satisfaction from clearing areas quickly and efficiently.
The above photo shows our demolition team hard at work on one of our remedial projects in Mortlake. Here we have been engaged by the owners to re-waterproof various balconies, planter boxes and a large podium slab. This was required due to a failing membrane system allowing water to leak into the carpark area below.
The work is progressing well and we are keen to get this building back into shape and watertight – ready for use by the owners as soon as possible.
We would like to congratulate the CJ Duncan delivery team led by Glenn Felipe (Senior Project Manager) and Jason Howell (Senior Site Manager). They are doing a great job of ensuring that the works are being completed to a high standard and that both the Owners and building occupants are happy with the process.
