CJD complete remedial re-cladding of Warburton St, Gymea

Exciting news! CJ Duncan Builders is delighted to share our recent successful delivery of another cladding replacement project for an Owners Corporation in Gymea. The Owners Corporation elected to have the cladding replacement led by the NSW Government scheme Project Remediate alongside managing contractor Hansen Yuncken, focusing on assisting Owners Corporation through the cladding replacement project and ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.

The nature of this project proved to be complicated and complex in many aspects, involving detailed fabrication and installation of structural steel frames to support the new façade cladding in tight and constrained access. Mobile craning from neighbouring properties was coordinated by the site team led by James O’Neill, our project manager, and site manager Mohamed Gadd, which required careful planning and communication with neighbouring stakeholders and the local council authority.

The Owners Corporation were also able to seek added benefits of remedying ongoing water leaks due to the defective cladding and weatherproofing as part of these remediation works. The success of this project is a testament to our team’s experience and hard work, from the initial planning stages to the execution and delivery of the project.
