CJ Duncan was engaged by the Owners Corporation of this beautiful heritage residential complex to complete remedial works and combustible cladding replacement.

Combustible cladding existed on a number of elevations and the project required a bespoke access arrangement to mitigate safety risk, optimise construction productivity and minimise the impact on tenants and neighbours.

Works commenced during the peak of COVID-19 restrictions and CJ Duncan’s proactive approach to safety and communication kept residents informed whilst minimising in person interactions with site personnel.

The works met both the program and budget aims to enable the owners to renew relevant insurances with minimal impact.

I want to congratulate the CJ Duncan delivery team led by Glenn Felipe (Senior Project Manager) and Paul Picallo (Senior Site Manager). They did an amazing job of ensuring the works were not only successful, but the Owners were thrilled with the outcome and the building process.

As with most strata remedial projects this project was completed in a live environment. The needs of the occupants were of paramount importance to the CJ Duncan team. CJ Duncan has decades of experience working in this type of environment and was able to complete these works while minimising the impact to both owners and residents.
